Founded in 1955 in the center of the beautiful city of Bruges as a manufacturer of ladies' clothes, Tricots VEM was taken over by
the family Vercruysse in 1967.

A new strategy has been developed based on the different possibilities and strenghts of the company.

Tricots VEM specialised in high class children's wear , characterised by a superior quality of materials and finishing
and a creative design, all styled by Tricots VEM itself.

Our collections were promoted by our sales-department to exclusif retail stores in Belgium an abroad.

Because of this expansion Tricots VEM had to move outside of the city to the industrial area " Zoning Blauwe Toren ",
where a new plant was built. Tricots VEM acquired a strong position in the market of chilren's wear and became
a standard in knitwear.

Investements in own styling department people and polyvalent machinery were done.

At the moment our collection V&M has a leading position in high class junior & children's wear at the home-market belgium.
We also create an exclusive baby & junior collection, Mini Fifi & Fifi Brinda.

In Europe, the main export markets are the Netherlands, Germany, Luxemburg, France, Monaco, Andorra,
Great-Britain, Ireland, Switserland, Austria, Skandinavia, Greece, Spain, Italy.
Outside Europe , Tricots VEM is active on the market of Japan, Middle-East (Saoudi-Arabia, Libanon,Kuwait,etc.)
and Far-East (Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, etc. )
